Individual coaching for women at work
When work stops feeling safe, or stops feeling like you, there's a reason. I can help you find it.
"You haven't lost yourself. Something in your environment made it harder to find you. Let's change that."Tamsin Kaminski, Your Breathing Room
You might be here because
Most coaches help you work on yourself. That's valuable. But when the problem is partly or mostly the culture around you, that's not enough.
I work with organisations to diagnose and fix toxic cultures for a living. I know how power operates, how psychological safety breaks down, and what organisations do, consciously or not, to make women feel small.
That means I can help you understand what's actually happening, not just how you're feeling about it. And from there, we can decide what to do.
The question every woman asks. My culture expertise means I can give you an honest, informed answer, not just validation.
Some cultures change. Some don't. I can help you understand the difference, and save you years of misplaced effort and self-doubt.
Stay and advocate. Stay and protect yourself. Leave well. Escalate strategically. Together we'll find the options that feel right for you.
Work has a way of making us forget ourselves. I'll help you reconnect with your values, your voice, and what you actually want.
No fixed programme, no generic framework. Every engagement is shaped around what you need. Here are the most common ways we can work together.
A sustained coaching relationship, usually six or twelve sessions, to work through what's happening, reconnect with yourself, and build a clear way forward.
Most popularStructured, supported reintegration into working life for women returning after any period of absence — maternity leave, illness, caring responsibilities or anything else.
Returning to workFor when something has just happened and you need a clear, experienced head to help you think it through. One session, no commitment, immediate support.
Crisis pointYou might not call yourself a founder, you just started a business. Either way, if you're building something and want a culture-smart mentor alongside you as you grow, this is for you. Because getting the people stuff right from the start makes everything else easier.
Small business ownersAbout me
I'm Tamsin Kaminski, a Tricres-qualified culture coach and Oxford Women's Leadership Development Programme graduate (CPD Certified, 2025), based in Sheffield. Through my practice The Corporate Culture Coach, I work with businesses to identify and fix the root causes of poor culture.
Your Breathing Room grew out of a simple observation: the women most affected by toxic or unsafe workplaces rarely had anyone in their corner who understood both the personal cost and the organisational mechanics of what they were going through.
I bring that dual perspective to individual coaching. I'll help you understand your situation clearly, rebuild your confidence, and make decisions from a place of self-knowledge rather than self-doubt.
Read more about me"When you embark on coaching, you want to be seen, understood, challenged and ultimately coached. That's exactly what Tamsin does. But not only that, she does it with empathy, understanding, passion and inspiration. She brings immediate ease into each session so you can feel comfortable and open. She listens intently while asking questions, exploring topics and gently challenging your thinking and actions. Each session is an open discussion with guidance and thought provoking conversations. I finish each session feeling energised and inspired."Laura, small business owner and mother of two
Our first conversation is free, informal and completely without obligation. It's simply a chance to talk about what's going on, and to see whether working together feels right.
